Assistant Professor
Syracuse University

My research focuses on the community and ecosystem ecology of microorganisms, soil and plants in wetland and upland habitats. I have a particular affinity for fungi, and am very interested in biogeography, the interplay between ecological and evolutionary processes, plant-microbial interactions, and the role of microbial life in global change. I became a scientist because of my love and curiosity for the natural world, and I enjoy passing this enthusiasm on to students.

Here is my CV.
